Living Room

on July 19, 2009

This is the view of the living room after stepping in from the breezeway. The kitchen doorway is right in front of the entertainment center on the right.

Three large windows side-by-side let in lots of light (and make it difficult to take a picture with correct colors). The photo above is more accurate.

This room is larger than it looks. The couch and chair are pulled in from the walls, so we can enjoy the view of the trees and have a walkway to the bookshelves.

Kitchen

There is plenty of room in the kitchen.

Nice big windows overlook the backyard.

Updated with paint and new flooring. Built-in dishwasher and gas stove. Also has plenty of cupboard space.

The other wall has a built-in desk with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It creates a nice display space and computer nook.

Porch and Entry

Welcome! Come on in!

When you enter the house you will be in the breezeway. We used it for a school room, but it would also make a nice formal dining room or office.

The kitchen and living room are off to the left. The two car garage is to the right. There is a closet by the french doors that we used for craft supplies. I think it was meant to be a pantry, but it doesn't matter. It's storage space!

  • Beautiful hardwood floors throughout the living room and bedrooms
  • Large windows let in lots of light and make this house feel even bigger

Convert the garage to add a family room and another bedroom. The large kitchen and master bathroom have been updated, but could be remodeled. Or expand the main bathroom into the hallway where the old furnace used to be. The backyard has a small porch. What about adding an arbor?

We did so many structural updates that we were unable to finish all our plans. What an opportunity for you to create the home of your dreams!
